[ale] RH 6.1 and dual processors

RedHat 6.1 detected both of my cpu's on install so,
Hopefully, you won't need to recompile. Type:

uname -r

Your kernel release should be listed as 2.2.12-20smp.
The 'smp' indicates a multi-processor system. To
verify, follow JJ's advice and cat /proc/dev/cpuinfo |
less
