[ale] Distributions and 2.2.12

Download the kernel source for the version you want.

It really isn't that hard to configure and compilea and install a new kernel.

I've done it 4+ times and i've only been using linux since February.

You'll get better performance as well since you won't have tons of useless stuff
compiled in.
