They're working on integrating IE with the Linux kernel so that we get the
full Internet Experience. As part of this integration they will be porting
over the 'Blue Screen of Death'. It's taking them a while to get Linux to
crash on a regular basis so they can test the BSOD code.
PYSCH!!
:)
Seriously, I wouldn't expect any Microsoft software for Linux in the near
future. Maybe they will try to come out with a Microsoft distribution at
some point in the future. If they do that I would bet that IE, Office, and
who knows what else will only run on "Microsoft" Linux and would remain
close source. Their MO in the past has been to try and corrupt open specs
by adding their own "value-added" yet closed implementations that only work
with their own products.

Subject: [ale] Internet Explorer for Linux
Hi. I want to know if there is a version of IE5 for Linux. I searched
microsoft.com and there was only IE5 for HP-UX and Solaris. If I download an
Intel based version of IE5 for those OS's, will it run on my RedHat 6.0?
Thanks in advance.
