[ale] USB Ports & PDA's

USB is still in development in 2.3 and will
be in 2.4.

There is also a backport patch so that it can
be applied to 2.2 kernels (that should be on
the linux-usb.org web page).  It's available
at http://www.suse.cz/development/usb-backport/ .
