[ale] x11amp and CD audio player plugin

Do any of you use x11amp--it is a very nice graphical audio player.
It has a plug in system enabling it to play many formats such as wav,
mp3, and mod.

It comes with a CD audio player plugin, but I can't figure out how to
use it (or for that matter, what it does).  I've been assuming that it
lets me play my audio CDs, but I'm not sure.

Anyone know how it works?  I feel stupid--like I'm missing something
easy.
