[ale] modem, xserver, sound...

Hi!
 
i have all the problems:
- PCI internal modem(MDP 7800)- completely invisible for linux;
- S3 Trio 3D vga card (the s3 server fails in xf86setup, i'm left
with the generic vga option...:().
- ESS ES1869 soundcard ("device busy" error...).

please, help!
