VNC to display xterm on a WindowsXX machine ?????
Why waste CPU and network resources ?
I would recommend a X-Server for WindowsXX.
If there are concerns about security - use ssh for WindowsXX to log into
the linux box. SSH can also encrypt the X window traffic.
There are multiple commercial and free implementations of ssh and of X Window
servers for
WindowsXX available. (Sorry no links handy)
Stephan
PS: You might want to look for version 1.X of ssh - The licenses of 2.X
versions require you to
buy a license in most usage scenarios.
