This is an automatic response from GlobeComm, Inc. GlobeComm is the parent
company of iName which sells lifetime email addresses under a variety of
domains. Any mail sent to postmaster or abuse at iName or any of the
domains it manages comes to this mailbox. If you sent multiple emails,
multiple responses will be generated. If you are not complaining about a
spam incident, please disregard this autoresponse.
We have received your email regarding spamming. Thank you for bringing
this to our attention. This email was automatically sent to you so you
would know we have received your complaint. Every email is read carefully
and responded to appropriately.
We look into each occurrence of reported spamming or sending of unsolicited
emails. iName is firmly against spamming and sending of unsolicited
emails. iName believes this activity is harmful and disruptive to the
Internet community. iName has made reducing spamming activities a high
priority and acts fast if it determines that spamming has occurred.
iNameÂs policies are stated in the Terms of Agreement and in its Acceptable
Use Policy in this email.
If you have not included a copy of what you consider to be a SPAM from an
iName, please send a copy with the email header intact, back to us at
abuse at iname.com.
iName will use this information and initiate an investigation. If iName
determines that a spamming has occurred iName will suspend the iName
service of the account in question to prevent further unauthorized
activity. Confirmation of violations will result in cancellation of the
individual account and we will also prosecute spammers when possible so
that they do not continue with their behavior of sending unsolicited
emails. The account suspension may be rescinded at iNameÂs discretion.
Acceptable Use Policy
The following policy governs the use of iName products and services ("iName
Service") by customers of iName ("Customers").
Customers shall not use the iName Service for spamming, junk mail, bulk
sending or posting of unsolicited messages, or any use of distribution
lists that include people who have not given specific permission to be
included in such distribution process.
Customers shall not use the iName Service to transmit any threatening,
harassing, libellous or obscene material, or material of any nature which
could be deemed to be offensive.
Customers shall not use the iName Service in a manner which violates any
city, state, national or international law or regulation, or which fails to
comply with accepted Internet protocol.
Customer shall at all times provide iName with accurate information.
Customer shall immediately notify iName of any security breach in or
unauthorized use of Customer's account.
Customers shall not attempt to interfere in anyway with iName networks or
network security, or attempt to use the iName Service to gain unauthorized
access to any other computer system. Customers shall not interfere in
anyway with another Customers use of the iName Service.
Customer shall not resell, rent, lease, grant a security interest in, or
make commercial use of the iName services without the express written
consent of iName.
iName retains the right to terminate any and all products or services
provided to an iName Customer if it determines that such Customer has
failed to comply with any of the terms of the Acceptable Use Policy.
