All this would be nice if you could even GET BellSouth's
ADSL.
Right now the only support a very small subset of CO's and a
majority of the neighboorhoods are NOT supported (they
cannot do
SLC's) So those that do qualify (which is few) are lucky.
On a better note, their customer service is horrible. If
you call them,
they can't even look to see if you submitted an application
or your
status. And when you don't qualify (and you won't) they
don't tell you
why, except for giving you a myriad of vague reasons.
If I could get a cable modem (which I can't - complete
differnent rant
about Time Warner) I would get one tomorrow. The same
applies to
ADSL.
