ahh... as86 and ld86 aren't in the binutils source tree. they're in the bin86
source tree. try sunsite.unc.edu/pub/Linux/GCC/bin86-0.4.tar.gz (or in rpm
form, sunsite.unc.edu/pub/Linux/distributions/redhat/redhat-5.1/i386/RedHat\
/RPMS/bin86-0.4-5.i386.rpm)
