As you know, the Atlanta Linux Enthusiasts are planning the second annual
Atlanta Linux Showcase, to be held October 23 - 24, 1998. This is an all
volunteer-run event, and we need your help!

We are in need of about 5 more "organizers", people who are dedicated to
making the show happen and who can contribute a significant amount of time.
Our group consists of several teams, each of which handles a different aspect
of the show:

 - Vendor Team: vendor solicitation and support
 - Talks Team: talks and speaker coordination
 - Registration Team: all registration functions
 - Financial Team: finances and accounting
 - Logistics/Site/Coordination Team
 - Network Team: show WAN/LAN network
 - LIA Team: all aspects of Linux In Action
 - Publicity Team: publicity
 - Publications Team: publications and printing

The exact details of what the groups do can be found at
http://www.ale.org/showcase/aor.html . If you are interested in helping out
with the show in one of the above areas, and can dedicate a significant
amount of time, please get in touch with me. For more information about the
Showcase, visit http://www.ale.org/showcase/ .

Volunteers will also be needed to work shifts on the days of the show,
we will issue a call for volunteers as the show gets closer.

Greg
