[ale] SparQ drives?

Hi,

Anyone have any personal experience with a SparQ drive?  Horror
stories or otherwise?  I have a Syquest EZ-135 that's been flakey
(randomly spins disks down and ejects them, etc) so I'm a bit leery
of another Syquest drive...but 135MB isn't enough any more, and both
the Jaz and Syjet are $100 more than the SparQ (and cartridges cost
two to three times as much).

I'll be using it under NT4, Win98, and most importantly, Linux
(currently Slackware 3.4 since I never got Redhat to successfully
install).  Since I want to move it from machine to machine, I'm
looking at the parallel port version (since it doesn't come with a
SCSI one).

Any comments appreciated greatly!
