Check your cable with an ohm meter to be sure it is okay, make sure the =
bnc interface is the default if your have more than one interface (lots =
of cards have an RJ-45 and it is default) or set the bnc interface (this =
will require some more info about your setup)

I am trying to connect two linux boxes by peer to peer servers the coax
cable with terminators(50ohms); I edited the /etc/hosts with the ip
address lookup .  I did this to both machines.  the network cards are =
seen
by linux during boot up.
