[ale] Linux Opportunity

Yesterday's Charlotte Observer had a piece from the LA Times which
indicates a window of opportunity for the Linux community of sorts:
Iceland.

Apparently, Microsoft has decided that Iceland, and the Icelandic
language, represent too small a market for Microsoft to even _quote_ a
price for adding Icelandic language support to Windows. The article
implied, but did not state, that the government has asked for the quote,
and been turned down cold.

I'm not a public relations specialist (more of a public relations disaster
really 8-/), but it seems to me this is an opportunity for the Linux
community to get the majority of machines weaned from Microsoft and
running Linux in an entire (although small) country.

Any ideas on 1) where to confirm, 2) who to inform?

Thanks in advance
