I have just obtained a copy of Red Hat 4.2 and have been trying to =
install it on a Compaq presario 220, Win95, 180MHZ system. I have really =
run into problems when it comes to partitioning the 1.6 gig hard drive =
though.=20

According to what I have read, FIPS will not work with FAT32 systems. =
OK, now the only thing I know to do is to either delete the one existing =
partition that the computer came with (and erase everything in the =
process) or buy a commercial disk utility program :(. If I do delete the =
only partition (and since I am running Win95 and would like to keep it =
on the computer until I become comfortable with linux) will it cause the =
fdisk program to quit working since it is bundled with WIN95?

Sorry for the long question..... any ideas?

Steve
