The European Commission has announced it's beginning
an investigation into MS and the way it licenses
IE.

CNN also reported that MS threatened to stop supplying
Win95 to Compaq if they didn't ship IE. They also
reported that MS refused to let Gateway 2000 or 
Micron ship machines without IE's icon on the desktop.
