[ale] mounting NT shared drives to Linux

Is there a way to mount an NT shared drive to a Linux box?  I thought Samba
was what I needed, but from what I've read in the docs, it's designed to
serve Windows machines from UNIX, not the other way around.  Just point me
in the right direction.
