[ale] How can I listen to earphone audio from Mit.FX800 IDE CDROM drive?

Thanks for the suggestions. With a bit of flailing around the archive, I
ended up with
ftp://ftp.cc.gatech.edu/pub/linux/apps/sound/cdrom/X/xworkbone-0.1.tar.gz

which uses only low-level X, and built with just an added "-L" and fixing
the name of the helpfile to 'install' (xworkbone.. in place of
workbone..).
