	One thing I have found quite valuable for learning Linux stuff 
(probably more applicable after you have learned some of the extreme 
basics, like how to use things like `ls`) is to hunt around in either 
/usr/doc/faq/HOWTO (slackware) or /usr/doc/HOWTO (rh 4.2). These 
directories contain HOWTO's on just about everything and anything that 
you could possibly imagine, and, if you can't find your answer there, you 
might still find it under mini/*.
	You will notice that everything in the "HOWTO" directory is 
gzipped. Thus, to read them, just do a "zless whatever-HOWTO.gz", or if 
you want to search for some phrase, `zgrep "Search string" *.gz`.
