[ale] Linux + PPP + PAP Auth = (sigh)

}can anyone help me out. my isp has a very nasty pap authentication
}dial up. i've hunted the web, but nothing seems to work. i'm very
}open to suggestions.

Need more specifics.  What exactly is the problem?  I've just finished
configuring my Linux to communicate with AT&T's Worldnet.  They use chap
authentication and don't support Linux either. This, however, does not
make me and expert in the field. :)  Just need to have more substance to
work with.
