 I understand that it will, but your CD-ROM drive must be configured as a 
 master. Out of the box (at least on my SB-IDE) it is configured as a slave 
 device. While this will work under Win95 it won't under Linux.
        My info comes from the Red Hat FAQ.

Will the ide card that comes with the SoundBlaster 4x IDE CD-ROM work 
under Linux.  Does anybody know the address taht it is set to ?
