I have had pretty good luck with Kermit -- both in DOS and in Linux. Get
it from watsun.cc.columbia.edu, I believe (and someone please correct me if
I just had a memory lapse). In DOS, you can also get the MSUGOLD package
for "clean" VT-100 editing: it captures the NUM LOCK key and gives it
the VT-100 GOLD key funcion. I believe the Kermit archive also has this TSR,
or at least pointers where to get it.
