My windows broke and it can&#8217;t boot up!&#8221; &#8212;<br \/>\nAre these the words that haunt you every day?<br \/>\nDon&#8217;t you wish there was an easier way to diagnose<br \/>\nand repair computers than to haul about a hefty<br \/>\nstack of CD-ROM disks?<\/p>\n<p>Join Brian MacLeod as he explores two options using tools<br \/>\nfrom the SYSLINUX package by H Peter Anvin.  Learn how<br \/>\nto use SYSLINUX to make a USB drive with several useful<br \/>\ntools that will get you into (and clean) nearly any computer.<br \/>\nSee how PXELINUX can provide you the same functionality<br \/>\nand keep you from carrying anything at all (so long as you<br \/>\ncan access your local network).<\/p>\n<p>Bio:<br \/>\nBrian MacLeod is an Enterprise Systems Administrator at<br \/>\nGeorgia Gwinnett College.  Since 1998, he has worked for<br \/>\nGeorgia educational institutions as &#8220;that computer guy&#8221; and<br \/>\nhas tickered with Linux since 1999.
