Kimberly,<br \/>\nSE Region Systems Engineer,<br \/>\nCentrify Corporation<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>SYNOPSIS:<br \/>\n&#8211; The presentation will focus on the use of Active Directory<br \/>\nto seamlessly provide access to non-Windows platforms,<br \/>\nincluding most versions of UNIX \/ Linux, MAC&#8217;s, iPhones,<br \/>\niPads and Androids, and then use specific Active Directory<br \/>\nGPO&#8217;s to control that access and manage the rights and<br \/>\nelevated privileges on those systems.  Once complete,<br \/>\nthe administrator can easily validate access to systems,<br \/>\nconfirm elevated privileges and audit what users do with<br \/>\nelevated privileges, thereby delivering data and system<br \/>\nsecurity, and regulatory compliance.<\/p>\n<p>BIO:<br \/>\n&#8211; John E. Kimberly has a 32 year career in the UNIX and<br \/>\n&#8220;open systems&#8221; world, in a wide variety of positions at<br \/>\ncompanies like Dun &#038; Bradstreet, Siemens Information<br \/>\nSystems Worldwide and the Georgia Technology Authority.<br \/>\nHe holds certifications in Redhat Linux as an RHCE, Sun<br \/>\nMicrosystems as a Hardware, Network and Systems<br \/>\nEngineer, AIX Certified Specialist, VMWare, as well as<br \/>\nexperience in system security, threat prevention and<br \/>\nplatform hardening from SANS International.  For the past<br \/>\n15 years, he has been in the area of Enterprise Architecture<br \/>\nand Disaster Recovery, with additional focus in systems<br \/>\nand data security.
