\nas presented by the elusive and disarmingly charming Charles Shapiro
\n<\/strong>
\nSynopsis:
\n— This will be a simple introduction to hacking your Android phone,
\nwith live demo of a jailbreak and install of CyanogenMod on an HTC G1.
\nAt no extra charge, It will include a semi-political discussion of why this
\nis a [very, very, very] Good Idea. At no time will my hands leave my wrists
\n(unless the wrists are cuffed by jack booted gestapo enforcers of the DMCA).
\nCome to share your experiences if you’ve already succeeded or failed at this.<\/p>\n

bio:
\n— Charles Shapiro is a fan of fencing, gadgetry, juggling, gizmos,
\nbeer brewing, obscure weaponry, radio control (in all it’s connotations),
\nand most anything else that the lesser world might consider “geek”.
\nConsistent to these avocations he has been a professional programmer
\nfor over 14 years, specializing in C and Unix with a couple years of
\nC++, Perl and a plethora of Python in the mix. He can type faster than
\nmost people can talk, is a Linux Lunacy Cruise alumnae, a liberty
\nminded friend of the EFF, an officially sanctioned Richard Stallman
\nimpersonator for the FSF, and a seriously committed GNU Linux
\nzealot since 1996.<\/p>\n
