It uses a simple but<br \/>\npowerful DSL which I would like to introduce to everyone who is<br \/>\nnot familiar with it, and open a dialogue about how our role as<br \/>\nadmins is changing with the scalability problems we are faced with. <\/p>\n<p>Bio:<br \/>\n\u00e2\u20ac\u201c Matt Urbanski is a functional programmer turned sysadmin. His last<br \/>\nawesome job was in high frequency trading, administrating a super<br \/>\nlow latency MAN and optimizing trading algorithms. He also worked for<br \/>\nan advertising firm in Europe administrating hundreds of cloud based<br \/>\napache instances for serving ads where they were needed, when they<br \/>\nwere paid for, using puppet.<br \/>\n&#8211; Matt is currently working for a medtech\/bioinformatics firm, selling<br \/>\ndata to oncologists and the pharma industry.
