Drupal is scalable and can<br \/>\nbe tailored to meet many needs, from small personal sites to<br \/>\nsites that get millions of hits a day. This presentation will cover<br \/>\neverything from choosing a hosting platform to building content<br \/>\nto utilizing the power of community contributed modules, with<br \/>\nspecific topics including:<br \/>\n&#8211; Why is Drupal the right choice?<br \/>\n&#8211; Choosing a hosting platform<br \/>\n&#8211; Initial installation and configuration<br \/>\n&#8211; Building basic content<br \/>\n&#8211; Managing themes, blocks, and other features<br \/>\n&#8211; The power of &#8220;contrib&#8221; (community-contributed modules)<br \/>\n&#8211; An overview of custom development<br \/>\n&#8211; How to run multiple sites from one codebase<\/p>\n<p>Bio:<br \/>\n&#8212; David is a system administrator and Drupal developer at Kennesaw<br \/>\nState University.  Additionally, he is currently pursuing a M.S. in<br \/>\nInformation Security from Georgia Tech.
